<br />....~ <br /> <br />SWC:mf 11/26/80 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N o. 8 7 5 6 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL' <br />DEe 8 1980 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN DESCRIBED CITY-O~VNED <br />PROPERTY SURPLUS; AND AUTHORIZING SALE THEREOF <br />(SKID PUMP) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City is the owner of certain <br /> <br />property hereinafter described;, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has received evidence that the herein- <br /> <br />after described property is not needed for present or prospective <br /> <br />municipal or public purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Assessor has appraised said property and <br /> <br />determined the current reasonable market value thereof; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />declare said property surplus and authorize its sale in accordance <br /> <br />with Section 3-1/2 of the Charter of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, informal bids have been solicited to various agencies <br /> <br />in California, and the Casa Lorna Volunteer Fi:r;e As.sociation Inc.i has <br /> <br />bid in the sum of Seven Hundred Fifty-nine and No/lOO Dollars <br /> <br />($759.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention of this Council to accept the <br /> <br />bid of said Casa Lorna Volunteer Fire Association, Inc. and to <br /> <br />authorize sale of such property to said Casa Lorna Volunteer Fire, <br /> <br />Association, Inc.: <br /> <br />NOvl, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. This Council hereby finds, determines and declares that <br /> <br />the following City-owned property is surplus; is no longer necessary <br /> <br />or required for municipal or public purposes; and has an appraised <br /> <br />value of less than One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00): <br /> <br />Berkeley Skid Pump Unit <br /> <br />B 75 6 <br />
