RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE PORTION OF PUBLIC STREET (HAWES STREET), IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 OF DIVISION 9, STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA; SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN OR OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED VACATION; AND ORDERING POSTING OF NOTICE OF SUCH PROPOSED VACATION WHEREAS, a portion of Hawes Street in the city of Redwood City, heretofore dedicated as a public street, is not needed for present or prospective public street purposes; and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City intends to vacate said portion of Hawes Street pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 of the Street and Highways Code; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. The City Council hereby declares its intention to vacate a portion of Hawes Street, as hereinafter described, and elects to proceed with such vacation pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code. 2. The portion of Hawes Street to be vacated is as indicated on the plat on file in the office of the City Clerk, entitled "Abandonment of a Portion of Hawes Street," marked "Exhibit A" and is more particularly described on "Exhibit B," copies of which are attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein as if fully set forth herein. 3. Notice is hereby given that Monday the 5th day of January, 1981, at 7:30 o'clock p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, Hall of Justice and Records, Redwood City, California is hereby fixed as the time and place when and where any and all persons having any protests or objections to said proposed vacation may appear before this 8765
