<br />SWC:mf 12/10/80 <br />SWC:mf l2/ll/80R <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />8766 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />DEe I 5 1980 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN DESCRIBED CITY-OWNED <br />PROPERTY SURPLUS; AND AUTHORIZING SALE THEREOF <br /> <br />~VHEREAS, the City of Redwood City is the owner of certain <br /> <br />property (seventeen shotguns); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council received evidence that the above <br /> <br />property is not needed for present or prospective municipal or <br /> <br />public purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Assessor has appraised said property at <br /> <br />a value of less than $1,000.00; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />declare said property surplus and authorize its disposition in <br /> <br />accordance with Section 3-l/2(d) of the Charter of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOvlS: <br /> <br />1. This Council hereby finds that the city-owned property <br /> <br />(seventeen obsolete Model 1148 Remington shotguns) is not now <br /> <br />needed for any municipal or public purpose in the future, and <br /> <br />hereby declares said property to be surplus property. <br /> <br />2. This Council hereby authorizes the sale of the above <br /> <br />described city-owned property in the form of an open account <br /> <br />credit to Cake Davis Company, Berkeley, California, for a credit <br /> <br />of $55.00 per shotgun. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />8766 <br />
