<br />,. <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />8771 <br /> <br />CGM:wb 12/18/80 <br />Of?iGINAL <br /> <br />JAN 5 1981 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION VACATING PORTION OF PUBLIC STREET <br />(HAWES STREET) IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY IN <br />ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 OF DIVISION 9, STREETS <br />AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 (commencing <br /> <br />at ~8300) of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the <br /> <br />State of California, the Council of the City of Redwood City by <br /> <br />its Resolution No. 8765, adopted December 15, 1980, declared its <br /> <br />intention to vacate the hereinafter described portion of Hawes <br /> <br />Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said provisions of the Streets and <br /> <br />Highways Code, notice of intention to vacate the described <br /> <br />portion of the abovementioned street has been published and <br /> <br />posted; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held and evidence taken; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The Council of the City of Redwood City finds that the <br /> <br />hereinafter described portion of Hawes Street is unnecessary for <br /> <br />present or prospective public purposes and hereby orders said <br /> <br />portion of Hawes Street vacated. <br /> <br />2. The portion of Hawes Street vacated is described as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br />All that certain real property situate in the City of <br />Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />A portion of Hawes Street, as shown on that certain <br />map entitled "Map of the Reese Subdivision of a part of <br />the Redwood Farm," filed in the office of the Recorder of <br />San Mateo County, State of California, on March 22, 1905, <br />in Map Book 3, at page 56, said portion being more <br />particularly described as follows: <br /> <br />8 77 ]~ <br />
