<br />CGM:mf 3/20/81 <br /> <br />8819 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />MAR 2 3 1981 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR LANDSCAPING ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES IN <br />CONNECTION WITH LANDSCAPING IMPROVEMENTS ON EL CAMINO <br />REAL (CLAREMONT AVENUE TO OAK AVENUE) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires expert landscaping <br /> <br />services in connection with landscaping improvements on El Camino <br /> <br />Real (Claremont Avenue to Oak Avenue); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, SINGER and HODGES has represented to the City that <br /> <br />it is uniquely qualified and experienced to perform all the <br /> <br />services referred to aforesaid; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there have been presented to this Council an agreement <br /> <br />by and between the City of Redwood City and SINGER and HODGES, <br /> <br />for the performance of the aforesaid landscape architectural <br /> <br />services, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />approve said contract and authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Thai: certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated <br /> <br />3/4/81) by and between the City of Redwood City and SINGER and <br /> <br />HODGES, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of <br /> <br />the City Clerk, to which copy reference is made for the full <br /> <br />terms and conditions thereof, is hereby approved, and the City <br /> <br />Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute said <br /> <br />agreement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />8 81 9 <br />
