<br />& <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />CGM:mf 4/21/81 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 8 871 <br /> <br />ORIG I NAl <br />JUN 8 1981 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF A HOLD HARMLESS AND RELEASE AGREEMENT WITH <br />CITY OF SAN MATEO RELATING TO PARTICIPATION IN <br />MOTORCYCLE TRAINING COURSE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City of San Mateo has informed this City that it <br /> <br />will conduct a motorcycle training course during the summer; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Mateo has also advised this City that <br /> <br />one of the conditions for participation in this course is the <br /> <br />execution of a hold harmless and release agreement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Chief of Police has recommended participation <br /> <br />by the City in this course; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Hold Harmless and Release <br /> <br />Agreement" (form dated 4/21/81) by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City and City of San Mateo, a copy of which agreement is on file <br /> <br />in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is made <br /> <br />for the full terms and conditions thereof, is hereby approved, <br /> <br />and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute <br /> <br />said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />8 871 <br />
