<br />S\^1C:mf 7/16/81 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />8 916 <br /> <br />O'?lG1NAL <br />JUl 2 0 1981 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF REVOCABLE ENCROACHMENT PEID1IT RELATING TO <br />USE OF CERTAIN CITY OWNED REAL PROPERTY FOR <br />BUILDING STAIRWAY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, AMPEX CORPORATION, as owner of real property <br /> <br />at 899 Braodway in the City of Redwood City, adjacent to and <br /> <br />abutting certain City-owned real property described in "Exhibit A" <br /> <br />of that certain revocable encroachment permit attached hereto, <br /> <br />has requested permission to use, for building a stairway, said <br /> <br />real property described in "Exhibit A"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />grant a revocable encroachment permit permitting such use, subject <br /> <br />to certain designated terms and conditions; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE' ; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a <br /> <br />revocable encroachment permit to Ampex Corporation to build a <br /> <br />stairway over a portion of a city-owned sidewalk described in <br /> <br />"Exhibit A" of that certain revocable encroachment permit attached <br /> <br />hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, which permit <br /> <br />shall not be effective until such time as Ampex Corporation <br /> <br />executes an acceptance of its terms and conditions, and pays <br /> <br />to the City of Redwood City the fees required therein. <br /> <br />2. The permit granted shall be in the form of that certain <br /> <br />permit entitled "Grant of Revocable Encraochment Permit - <br /> <br />899 Broadway" (form dated 7/16/81), attached hereto and incorporated <br /> <br />herein by reference. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />8 916 <br />
