<br />,~ <br /> <br />~GM:djg-c 8/6/81 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />8935 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />AUG 1 0 1981 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR REPLACEMENT OF TRAFFIC <br />SIGNAL CONTROLLERS IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; <br />AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSIT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 8875 adopted June 15, <br /> <br />1981, the City Clerk called for bids for the replacement of Traffic <br /> <br />Signal Controllers in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, one bid was received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Multisonics, Inc., Dublin, California, is the lowest <br /> <br />responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to award said bid to said Multisonics, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Multisonics Inc. in the total amount of <br /> <br />Twenty-two Thousand Three Hundred eighty and 84/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($22,380.84), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />July 14, 1981, for the abovementioned public work in accordance <br /> <br />with those specifications entitled "General Specifications and <br /> <br />Special Provisions for Replacement Traffic Signal Controllers" <br /> <br />(including all plans and specifications referenced therein) is hereby <br /> <br />accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement" by and between the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City and Multisonics, Inc., for the performance of said work <br /> <br />in accordance with the abovementioned special provisions, a copy of <br /> <br />which agreement is presently on file in the office of the City Clerk <br /> <br />to which reference is hereby made for full particulars concerning the <br /> <br />terms and conditions thereof. <br /> <br />8935 <br />
