<br />S\.~:djg-c 8/19/81 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />8951 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />AUG 24 1981 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN DESCRIBED CITY-OWNED PROP- <br />ERTY SURPLUS; AND AUTHORIZING DONATION THEREOF TO THE <br />REDWOOD CITY ELEt-1:ENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT (PLAYGROUND EQUIPr1ENT) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City is the owner of certain <br /> <br />hereinafter described playgound equipment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has received evidence that such property <br /> <br />is not needed for present or prospective municipal or public purposes; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Redwood City Elementary School District has requested <br /> <br />that the City donate said property to the District for its Open - <br /> <br />Structured Alternative School; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention of this Council to declare said <br /> <br />property surplus and to authorize the donation of said property <br /> <br />to the Redwood City Elementary School District in accordance with <br /> <br />Sections 3 and 3 1/2 of the Charter of the City of Redwood City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. This Council hereby finds that the following described city - <br /> <br />owned property, which has been appraised by the City Assessor in <br /> <br />accordance with Section 3 1/2 of the Charter, is not now needed for <br /> <br />any municipal purposes and will not be needed for any municipal <br /> <br />purposes, and hereby declares said property to be surplus property. <br /> <br /> Surplus Item Appraised Value <br />l.
