<br />SWC:djg-c 9/11/81 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />8967 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />SEP 21 1981 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR MARINE WORLD PARKWAY/TWIN <br />DOLPHIN PARKWAY TRAFFIC SIGNAL SYSTEJYl PROJECT; REJECTING <br />ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY <br />DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 8911, adopted July 20, 1981, <br /> <br />this Council approved plans and specifications for the Marine World <br /> <br />Parkway/Twin Dolphin Parkway Traffic Signal System Project, and <br /> <br />directed the City Clerk to call for bids therefor; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Rosendin Electric, Inc., San Jose, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to award said bid to said Rosendin Electric, Inc. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Rosendin Electric, Inc. in the amount of One <br /> <br />Hundred Fifty-three Thousand Two Hundred Seventy-seven and No/lOa <br /> <br />Dollars ($153,277.00), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal <br /> <br />dated August 25, 1981, for the Marine World Parkway/Twin Dolphin <br /> <br />Parkway Traffic Signal System Project, is hereby accepted and said <br /> <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible <br /> <br />bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the abovementioned work, other than the bid mentioned in paragraph <br /> <br />1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br /> <br />3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to enter <br /> <br />into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that certain <br /> <br />agreement entitled "Agreement" by and between the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />8967 <br />
