<br />SWC:mf 12/7/81 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />9020 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />DEe 1 4 1981 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR WEED ABATEMENT <br />BY DISKING <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 8987, adopted October <br /> <br />26, 1981, the City Clerk called for bids for the letting of a <br /> <br />contract for the weed abatement by disking within fiscal year <br /> <br />1981-82; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said resolution, the City Clerk called <br /> <br />for bids for the abatement of weeds by disking; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, ROBERT I. LEWIS, dba ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT, <br /> <br />Kentfield, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and <br /> <br />it is the intention and desire of this Council to award sai~ <br /> <br />contract to Environmental Management; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Environmental Management, in the total <br /> <br />amount of Ten Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty-two and No/IOO Dollars <br /> <br />($10,952.00), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />November 18, 1981, for the performance of weed abatement by <br /> <br />disking in the City of Redwood City, California, in accordance <br /> <br />with the specifications approved by Resolution No. 8987, is <br /> <br />hereby accepted. Any irregularities or informalities that may <br /> <br />be contained in said bid are hereby waived. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />that certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated 12/8/81) <br /> <br />between the City of Redwood City and Robert I. Lewis, dba <br /> <br />Environmental Management, for performance of said work in <br /> <br />accordance with the above mentioned specifications, and iD <br /> <br />accordance with Contractor's proposal, a copy of which agreement <br /> <br />is presently on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> <br />902 u <br />
