<br />..Gt.l:djg-c 1/20/82 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />~ Q. 9 03 9 <br /> <br />OR\G\NAl <br />JAN 2 5 1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR !'-1IDDLEFIELD ROAD AND <br />~~RSHALL STREET TPAFFIC SIGNAL PROJECT; P~JECTING <br />ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; AUTHOEIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGHEE~.lliNT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF <br />SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 9014, adopted Decerr~er 7, 1981, <br /> <br />the City Clerk called for bids for the tliddlefield Road and Marshall <br /> <br />Street Traffic Signal Project in the city of Redwood city; and <br /> <br />WHEPBAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, CVE, Inc., Santa Clara, California, is the lowest <br /> <br />responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to award said bid to said Company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF P~DWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of CVE, Inc. in the amount of One Hundred Twenty- <br /> <br />five 'Thousand and No/lOO Dollars ($125,000.00), computed in <br /> <br />accordance with bidder's proposal,dated January 12, 1982 for <br /> <br />the Middlefield Road and !larshall Street Traffic Signal Project, <br /> <br />is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared <br /> <br />to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. Any and all bids received by the City of Hedwood City <br /> <br />for the abovementioned work, other than the bid mentioned in <br /> <br />paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br /> <br />3. The City Hanager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled IIAgreement" by and between the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City and CVE, Inc. for the performance of said work <br /> <br />9 039 <br />
