RD- 82-03 <br /> <br />CONCURRENT RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY <br />AND THE REDEVELOPHENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING LOAN OF CITY FUNDS TO <br />REDEVELOPHENT AGENCY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. RD81-01, adopted April <br /> <br />13, 1981, the Council of Redwood City acting as the Redevelopment <br /> <br />Agency of the City of Redwood City approved an agreement for <br /> <br />consulting services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 8832 also adopted April <br /> <br />13, 1981, this Council transferred funds for the payment of such <br /> <br />redevelopment consulting services to the Community Development <br /> <br />account of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the preparation of a Redevelopment Plan and other <br /> <br />preliminary responsibilities of the Redevelopment Agency will <br /> <br />require additional expenditures prior to such time as the <br /> <br />Redevelopment Agency would have the ability to generate funds; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intent of the Council of Redwood City to <br /> <br />loan funds to the Redevelopment Agency to cover initial expend- <br /> <br />itures; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intent of the Redevelopment Agency to <br /> <br />borrow such funds and to agree to repay such amount to the City <br /> <br />at such time as the Redevelopment Agency is income-producing; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AND BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ACTING AS THE <br /> <br />REDEVELOPHENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF REm100D CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The City of Redwood City hereby agrees to loan the sum <br /> <br />of Fifty Thousand and No/IOO Dollars ($50,000.00) to the Redevelop- <br /> <br />9047 <br />RD 82-03 <br />
