<br />SWC:djg-c 2/1/82 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9 051 <br /> <br />FEB 8 1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DESIGNATING CERTAIN BUILDINGS IN THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS HISTORIC LAND~ffiRKS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of Section <br /> <br />40.7 of the Code of the City of Redwood City the Historic <br /> <br />Preservation Advisory Committee has presented an application <br /> <br />to the Planning Commission requesting the designation of <br /> <br />Historic Landmark for the following seven (7) buildings: <br /> <br />Lathrop House, Alhambra Theatre, Kirste House, Sequoia <br /> <br />Hotel, Granger Residence, San Mateo County Building and <br /> <br />Loan Association and Offerman House; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, upon conducting a <br /> <br />study of such proposed designatiors, and upon the testimony <br /> <br />received at the noticed public hearing held upon such application, <br /> <br />has recommended that following five (5) buildings be designated <br /> <br />as Historic Landmarks: <br /> <br />Lathrop House <br />Alhambra Theatre <br />Kirste House <br />San Mateo County Building and Loan Association <br />(Cafe Borrone) <br /> <br />Offerman House ; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission tabled consideration of <br /> <br />the Granger Residence for further study; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 40.7 the application <br /> <br />of the Historic Preservation Advisory Committee, excepting <br /> <br />the application for the Granger Residence which will be <br /> <br />considered at a later date, is now before this Council: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE ; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />9 051 <br />
