CGM:mf 4/13/82 RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 9 098 OD'('IIl\lfl /"'uii~/-\L RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR REPAIR OF WATER TANK (VISTA WATER STATION); RETURNING SECURITY DEPOSITS; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR APR 1 9 1982 WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9069, adopted March 15, 1982, the City Clerk called for bids for the repair of the water tank (Vista Water Station); and WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and WHEREAS, JEFFCO PAINTING & COATING, INC., Pacheco, California, is the lowest responsbile bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to said JEFFCO PAINTING & COATING, INC.; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. The bid of Jeffco Painting & Coating, Inc, in the amount of Twelve Thousand Four Hundred and No/IOO Dollars ($12,400.00), in accordance with the bidder's proposal dated April 2, 1982, for the repair of water tank (Vista Water Station) in accordance with those contract documents approved for the performance of said work, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that certain agreement entitled "Agreement"(form dated 4/13/82) by and between the City of Redwood City and Jeffco Painting & Coating, Inc. for the performance of said work, a copy of which agreement is presentl~ on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which reference is hereby made for full particulars concerning the terms and conditions thereof. 3. Any informality in the aforementioned bid of Jeffco Painting & Coating, Inc. is hereby waived. 4. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to 9 O~ t;
