<br />ORIGI N/,:J <br />MAY 3 1982 <br /> <br />SWC:mf 4/29/82 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />911 0 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN DESCRIBED CITY-OWNED <br />PROPERTY SURPLUS; AND AUTHORIZING SALE THEREOF <br />(FIRE HOSE AND NOZZLES) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City is the owner of certain <br /> <br />property hereinafter described; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has received evidence that the <br /> <br />hereinafter described property is not needed for present or <br /> <br />prospective municipal or public purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Assessor has appraised said property and <br /> <br />determined that the current reasonable market value for each <br /> <br />item to be declared surplus is less than One Thousand Dollars <br /> <br />( $1 ,000. 00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council <br /> <br />to declare said property surplus and authorize its sale in <br /> <br />accordance with Section 3-1/2 of the Charter of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. This Council hereby finds, determines and declares <br /> <br />that the items of City property listed on "Exhibit A," which is <br /> <br />attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, are surplus; <br /> <br />that they are no longer necessary or required for municipal or <br /> <br />public purposes; and that each has an appraised value of less than <br /> <br />One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00). <br /> <br />2.
