<br />1M:djg-c 5/13/82 <br /> <br />ORlG\NAl <br />MAY 1 7 1982 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9120 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING OF TWELVE <br />COMPACT PICKUP TRUCKS; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9068, adopted March 15, <br /> <br />1982, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of twelve <br /> <br />compact pickup trucks; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> <br />with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said equipment and it <br /> <br />is the intention of this Council to award said bid to Ellis <br /> <br />Brooks Chevrolet; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Ellis Brooks Chevrolet, in the total lump <br /> <br />sum of Eighty seven Thousand Five Hundred Eighty-nine and <br /> <br />No/I00 Dollars ($87,589.00), plus sales tax for the furnishing <br /> <br />of twelve compact pickup trucks, in accordance with the bidding <br /> <br />proposal, and in accordance with the specifications therefor on <br /> <br />file in the office of the City Clerk, is hereby accepted and said <br /> <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible <br /> <br />bidder for the furnishing of said equipment. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an <br /> <br />agreement with Ellis Brooks Chevrolet for the furnishing of the <br /> <br />abovementioned equipment in accordance with, and subject to, the <br /> <br />terms and conditions of the aforementioned specifications and in <br /> <br />accordance with the aforementioned bidder's proposal. <br /> <br />3.
