<br />ORiGINAL <br /> <br />DES:mf 5/21/82 <br />DES:mf 5/24/82R <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 9111 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY MAY 2 4 1982 <br />ADOPTING AN AMENDMENT TO THE GENERAL PLAN <br />OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO <br />PROPERTY LOCATED GENERALLY EASTERLY OF STATE <br />HIGHWAY 101, BOUNDED IN PART BY STEINBERGER <br />AND CORKSCREW SLOUGHS IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AND MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS WITH RESPECT <br />THERETO <br />( "SOUTH SHORES") <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council a proposal to <br /> <br />amend the General Plan of the City of Redwood City from the "Urban <br /> <br />Reserve" designation to multiple designations for residential, <br /> <br />commercial/employment and public, recreation and open space purposes <br /> <br />for lands commonly designated "South Shores" and located generally <br /> <br />easterly of State Highway 101 and bounded in part by Steinberger and <br /> <br />Corkscrew Sloughs in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said proposed amendment has been duly reviewed by the <br /> <br />Planning Commission of the City of Redwood City and forwarded by <br /> <br />said Commission to this Council with the recommendation that the <br /> <br />proposed amendment as revised by said Commission be adopted; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, following duly noticed public hearing and in accordance <br /> <br />with the findings, declarations, and conclusions hereinafter stated, <br /> <br />this Council desires to amend the General Plan in the manner <br /> <br />recommended by the Planning Commission; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOVJS: <br /> <br />1.
