<br />CGM:djg-c <br />CGM:djg-c <br /> <br />6/1/82 <br />6/7/82R <br /> <br />ORIGI Nt\L <br />JUN 7 1982 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />~ Q. 9 13 6 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR REPAIRING OF FIRE <br />TRUCK WATER TANK; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Article VII of Chapter <br /> <br />2 of the Redwood City Code, the City Manager has solicited bids <br /> <br />for the repairing of a fire truck water tank which is to be used <br /> <br />for municipal purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> <br />with the Director of Finance for the repair of such fire truck <br /> <br />water tank; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Westates Truck Equipment Corp., Menlo Park, Calif- <br /> <br />ornia, is the lowest responsible bidder for the repair of said <br /> <br />equipment, and it is the intention of this Council to award <br /> <br />said bid to Westates Truck Equipment Corp.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Westates Truck Equipment Corp., in the <br /> <br />total amount of Seven Thousand Five Hundred and No/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($7,500.00) for the repair of a fire truck water tank (10 gauge <br /> <br />stainless steel tank including spring mounting) including all <br /> <br />parts and labor in accordance with the bidders proposal, is <br /> <br />hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared <br /> <br />to be the lowest responsible bidder for the repair of said <br /> <br />equipment. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an <br /> <br />agreement with Westates Truck Equipment Corp. for the repair <br /> <br />9136 <br />
