<br />CGM:djg-c 6/15/82 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />JUN 2 1 iSo~ <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9141 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR TRENCH PATCHING <br />PROJECT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1982-83 IN THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT FOR SAID WORK; <br />AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9119 adopted May, 17, <br /> <br />1982, the City Clerk called for bids for the Redwood City <br /> <br />Water Department Trench Patching Project for the fiscal <br /> <br />year 1982-83 in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, C.F. Archibald Paving Inc., Redwood City, Calif- <br /> <br />ornia, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention <br /> <br />and desire of this Council to award bid to said C.F. Archibald <br /> <br />Paving Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of C. F. Archibald Paving, Inc., in the total <br /> <br />amount of Thirty-five Thousand Two Hundred Eighty-six and <br /> <br />No/100 Dollars ($35,286.00), computed in accordance with <br /> <br />bidder's proposal dated June 8, 1982, for the Redwood City <br /> <br />Water Department Trench Patching Project for the fiscal year <br /> <br />1982-83 in the City of Redwood City, in accordance with the <br /> <br />specifications therefor, is hereby accepted and said bidder is <br /> <br />hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder <br /> <br />for said work. <br /> <br />2.
