<br />CGM:mf 6/16/82 <br /> <br />ORiGINAL <br />JUN 2 1 1882 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 9 14 3 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR WATER TELEMETRY <br />SYSTEM MAINTENANCE; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS <br />RECEIVED; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />FOR SAID WORK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9118, adopted May 17, <br /> <br />1982, the City Clerk called for bids for water telemetry system <br /> <br />maintenance in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Diablo Control Co., Fairfield, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to award said contract to Diablo Control Co.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Diablo Control Co. in the amount of Fourteen <br /> <br />Thousand Five Hundred and No/IOO Dollars ($14,500.00), more <br /> <br />or less, for basic services and those additional, overtime, <br /> <br />and emergency hourly rates listed for such respective services <br /> <br />in Bidder's Proposal entitled "Quotation Summary" for water <br /> <br />telemetry system maintenance in accordance with the contract <br /> <br />documents therefor on file in the office of the City Clerk, is <br /> <br />hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby declared to be the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated 6/15/82) , <br /> <br />by and between the City of Redwood City and Diablo Control Co., <br /> <br />for the performance of the aforesaid work in accordance with <br /> <br />and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract documents <br /> <br />therefor, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office <br /> <br />of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made <br /> <br />9143 <br />
