<br />CGM:djg-c 6/22/82 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9153 <br /> <br />JUN 2 8 1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR COMPENSATION FOR <br />MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 9 of the Charter of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City authorizes a level of compensation for members of the City <br /> <br />Council not to exceed that allowed for members of city councils <br /> <br />of general law cities of equivalent population; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 36516 of the Government Code provides a <br /> <br />compensation schedule for members of city councils of general <br /> <br />law cities in the State of California; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Each member of the Council of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City shall receive as compensation Two Hundred Fifty Dollars <br /> <br />($250.00) per month, an amount which is authorized by the <br /> <br />above referenced section of the Government Code for general <br /> <br />law cities of an equivalent population to that of this City. <br /> <br />2.
