FOR <br />SHARED HOUSING PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Human Investment Projects Inc. is presently <br /> <br />engaged in the operation of a Shared Housing Program and <br /> <br />desires to conduct a Shared Housing Program to residents of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Human Investment Projects Inc. has requested <br /> <br />financial assistance in order to conduct such a program for <br /> <br />residents of the City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, <br /> <br />1982, and ending June 30, 1983; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said <br /> <br />request and desires to allocate to Human Investment Projects <br /> <br />Inc. the sum of Fifteen Thousand and No/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($15,000.00) from its Community Development Block Grant <br /> <br />funds; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for <br /> <br />approval an agreement between the City of Redwood City and <br /> <br />Human Investment Projects Inc., and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 7/6/82), by and between <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City and Human Investment Projects Inc., a <br /> <br />copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City <br /> <br />Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full <br /> <br />particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager <br /> <br />is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and <br /> <br />on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9167 <br />
