<br />('1:djg-c 8/5/82 <br /> <br />ORIGI NAL <br />AUG 9 1982 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9171 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE PUBLIC SERVICE <br />EASEMENT (CHEW STREET) IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 <br />OF DIVISION 9, STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF <br />THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA; SETTING TH1E AND <br />PLACE FOR HEARING ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN OR <br />OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED VACATION; AND ORDERING <br />POSTING OF NOTICE OF SUCH PROPOSED VACATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public service easement in the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City, heretofore dedicated over a portion of Chew Street, is <br /> <br />not needed for present or prospective public service pur- <br /> <br />poses; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City intends <br /> <br />to vacate said public service easement pursuant to the provisions <br /> <br />of Part 3 of Division 9 (commencing with Section 8300) of the <br /> <br />Streets and Highways Code; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The City Council hereby declares its intention to <br /> <br />vacate a public service easement on a portion of Chew Street, <br /> <br />as hereinafter described, and elects to proceed with such <br /> <br />vacation pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 <br /> <br />(commencing with Section 8300) of the Streets and Highways Code. <br /> <br />2. The public service easement to be vacated is as <br /> <br />indicated on the plat attached hereto and incorporated herein <br /> <br />by reference, entitled "Plat of Quit Claim Portion of Public <br /> <br />utility Easement (Chew Street)" marked "Exhibit A", and is <br /> <br />more particularly described in "Exh~bit B". <br /> <br />3. Notice is hereby given that Monday, September 13, 1982, <br /> <br />at the hour of 7:30 o'clock p.m., in the Board of Supervisors <br /> <br />Chambers, 401 Marshall Street, Redwood City, California, is <br /> <br />9 171 <br />
