<br />SWC:djg-c <br />SWC:djg-c <br /> <br />8/19/82 <br />8/23/82R <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 9 19 2 <br /> <br />AUG 23 1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR LEASE OF CITY OWNED LAND TO <br />PROVIDE HOME FOR DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED; AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF LEASE AGREEMENT FOR SAID PREMISES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9164, adopted July <br /> <br />26, 1982, the City Clerk called for bids for the lease of City <br /> <br />owned land for purpose of the construction and operation of a <br /> <br />home for the developmentally disabled; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Kainos Home and Training Center For the <br /> <br />Developmentally Disabled, Redwood City, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to award said bid to said Kainos Home and <br /> <br />Training Center For the Developmentally Disabled; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Kainos Home and Training Center For the <br /> <br />Developmentally Disabled, dated August 6, 1982, including <br /> <br />certificates of experience and financial capability and <br /> <br />non-profit status, for the lease of the premises according to <br /> <br />those certain bid documents and lease agreement entitled "Lease <br /> <br />Agreement" (form dated 8/23/82R) is hereby accepted and said <br /> <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br /> <br />responsible bidder for said lease. <br /> <br />9192 <br />
