<br />CGM:djg-c 8/19/82 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />9199 <br /> <br />AUG 23 1982 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING OF <br />AERIAL BUCKET LIFT; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Article VII of <br /> <br />Chapter 2 of the Redwood City Code, the City Manager has <br /> <br />solicited bids for the furnishing of an aerial bucket lift to <br /> <br />be used for municipal purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and <br /> <br />filed with the Director of General Services for the furnishing <br /> <br />of said equipment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Service Manufacturing Company, San Lorenzo, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing <br /> <br />of said equipment, and it is the intention of this Council to <br /> <br />award said bid to Service Manufacturing Company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Service Manufacturing Company in the total <br /> <br />lump sum amount of Ten Thousand Ninety-five and No/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($10,095.00) plus applicable sales tax, for the furnishing of <br /> <br />an aerial bucket lift, in accordance with the bidder's <br /> <br />proposal, dated August 6, 1982, and in accordance with the <br /> <br />specifications therefor on file in the office of the Director <br /> <br />of General Services, is hereby accepted and said bidder is <br /> <br />hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder <br /> <br />for the furnishing of said equipment. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an <br /> <br />9199 <br />
