<br />r.GM:djg-c 9/16/82 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9230 <br /> <br />SEP 2 0 1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE PUBLIC SERVICE <br />EASEMENT (SPRUCE STREET) IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART <br />3 OF DIVISION 9, STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA; SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR <br />HEARING ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN OR OBJECTING TO <br />THE PROPOSED VACATION; AND ORDERING POSTING OF <br />NOTICE OF SUCH PROPOSED VACATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public service easement in the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City, heretofore dedicated over a portion of Spruce Street, is <br /> <br />not needed for present or prospective public service purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City intends to <br /> <br />vacate said public service easement pursuant to the provisions of <br /> <br />Part 3 of Division 9 (commencing with Section 8300) of the Streets <br /> <br />and Highways Code; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The City Council hereby declares its intention to vacate <br /> <br />a public service easement on a portion of Spruce Street, as <br /> <br />hereinafter described, and elects to proceed with such vacation <br /> <br />pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 (commencing <br /> <br />with Section 8300) of the Streets and Highways Code. <br /> <br />2. The public service easement to be vacated is as indicated <br /> <br />on the plat attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, <br /> <br />entitled "Spruce Street Abandonment," marked "Exhibit A", and is <br /> <br />more particularly described in "Exhibit B". <br /> <br />3. Notice is hereby given that Monday, October 11, 1982, at <br /> <br />the hour of 7:30 o'clock p.m., in the Board of Supervisors <br /> <br />Chambers, 401 Marshall Street, Redwood City, California, is the <br /> <br />9230 <br />
