<br />CGM:mf 11/10/82 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 926 2 <br /> <br />NOV 1 5 1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE EL CAHINO REAL AND CHARTER <br />TRAFFIC SIGNALIZATION PROJECT, EL CAMINO REAL/WHIPPLE ORiGl~AL <br />AVENUE TRAFFIC SIGNAL MODIFICATION PROJECT, HOLLY <br />STREET INTERCHANGE PHASE II PROJECT, AND MAPLE STREET/ <br />BAYSHORE FREEWAY PROPOSED INTERCHANGE PROJECT FOR <br />FEDERAL AID URBAN PROGRAM FUNDING <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has advised this <br /> <br />Council that the El Camino Real and Charter Traffic Signal <br /> <br />Modification Project, the El Camino Real/Whipple Avenue Traffic <br /> <br />Signal Modification Project, the Holly Street Interchange Phase II <br /> <br />Project, and the Maple Street/Bayshore Freeway Proposed Interchange <br /> <br />Project, are vital projects the construction of which will result <br /> <br />in improved traffic circulation and in greater traffic safety in <br /> <br />this City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the construction of such projects will benefit not <br /> <br />only this City, but adjacent jurisdictions as well, and will <br /> <br />facilitate traffic movement on State higways situated in this <br /> <br />City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE~ <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That the El Camino Real and Charter Traffic Signalization <br /> <br />Project, the El Camino Real/Whipple Avenue Traffic Signal Modification <br /> <br />Project, the Holly Street Interchange Phase II Project, and the <br /> <br />9262 <br />
