<br />SWC:mf 11/12/82 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 926 5 <br /> <br />Nav 1 5 1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR COMPUTER MEMORY; <br />APPROVING NEW SPECIFICATIONS; AND AUTHORIZING CITY <br />CLERK TO CALL FOR NEW BIDS THEREFOR <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9244, adopted October 11, <br /> <br />1982, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing and <br /> <br />installation of computer memory and central processor components; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for said <br /> <br />components; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, all bids received were more than fifteen percent <br /> <br />over the estimate made therefor; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Data Systems Manager has advised this Council <br /> <br />that lower bids are possible if the City changes the specifications <br /> <br />and calls for bids for the furnishing of said components; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention of this Council to reject all <br /> <br />bids submitted, to approve new specifications, and to authorize <br /> <br />the City Clerk to call for new bids for the furnishing of said <br /> <br />components; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. All bids received for the furnishing and installation <br /> <br />of computer memory and central processor components submitted <br /> <br />pursuant to Resolution No. 9244, adopted October 11, 1982, are <br /> <br />~265 <br />
