" 't_~ ~ ~ ""..; <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9274 <br /> <br />DEe <br /> <br />() 1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />DECLARING CANVASS OF RETURNS AND RESULT OF SPECIAL <br />MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD ON NOVEMBER 2, 1982 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9162, adopted July 26, 1982, <br /> <br />the Council of the City of Redwood City submitted to the electors of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City a referendum measure with respect to an <br /> <br />amendment to the General Plan of the City of Redwood City pertaining <br /> <br />to an area designated "South Shores," said amendment having been <br /> <br />enacted pursuant to Resolution No. 9131, adopted May 24, 1982 by said <br /> <br />Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said special municipal election was, at the request <br /> <br />of the Council of the City of Redwood City made pursuant to the <br /> <br />aforesaid Resolution No. 9162, consolidated with the State-wide <br /> <br />General Election held on said date in the County of San Mateo; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County Clerk of the County of San Mateo, pursuant <br /> <br />to the order of consolidation and subsequent to a partial recount of <br /> <br />the votes, has prepared and transmitted a certified statement of the <br /> <br />results of the election and submitted it to the City Council of the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The City Clerk of the City of Redwood City shall be, and <br /> <br />hereby is, instructed to enter this Resolution on the Minutes of <br /> <br />this Council as a statement of the results of the special municipal <br /> <br />fll (,) ~"i <br />;y /.-.; !. 4 <br />
