<br />CGM jg-c 3/24/83 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9326 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />MAR 2 8 1983 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN DESCRIBED CITY-OWNED <br />PROPERTY SURPLUS; AND AUTHORIZING SALE OR EXCHANGE <br />THEREOF (MUNICIPAL VEHICLES) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City is the owner of certain <br /> <br />property hereinafter listed on "Exhibit A" which is attached <br /> <br />hereto; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has received evidence that such <br /> <br />property is not needed for present or prospective municipal <br /> <br />or public purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Assessor has appraised said property <br /> <br />and determined that the current reasonable market value of <br /> <br />each item to be declared surplus is less than Five Thousand <br /> <br />Dollars ($5,000.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council <br /> <br />to declare said property surplus and authorize its sale or <br /> <br />exchange in accordance with Section 3-1/2 of the Charter of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. This Council hereby finds, determines and declares that <br /> <br />those items of municipal property listed on "Exhibit A" are <br /> <br />surplus; that they are no longer necessary or required for muni- <br /> <br />cipal or public purposes; and that the appraised value of each <br /> <br />item is less than Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00). <br /> <br />9326 <br />
