<br />SWC:mf 4/21/83 <br /> <br />O~f';~('" .~,' 0'\ <br />l;uUi"vtiL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />9342 <br /> <br />APR 2 5 1983 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING <br />OF TURNOUT COATS AND TROUSERS; AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9327, adopted April 4, <br /> <br />1983, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of <br /> <br />turnout coats and trousers; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />furnishing of said equipment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Halprin Supply Company, Los Angeles, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said <br /> <br />equipment, and it is the intention of this Council to award <br /> <br />said bid to Halprin Supply Company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Halprin Supply Company in the total lump <br /> <br />sum of Eleven Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty-six and 65/100 <br /> <br />Dollars ($11,856.65), for the furnishing of turnout coats <br /> <br />and trousers, in accordance with the specifications therefor <br /> <br />on file in the office of the City Clerk, is hereby accepted <br /> <br />and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br /> <br />responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equipment. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an <br /> <br />agreement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City with <br /> <br />9342 <br />
