<br />SWC:djg-c 4/29/83 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9344 <br /> <br />\ hI IGI 1\1 <br />.,., I~AL <br />MAY 2 1983 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO THE <br />PLAY AREA - FAIR OAKS COMMUNITY CENTER; APPROVING <br />REVISED SPECIAL PROVISIONS; AND AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK <br />TO CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9321, adopted March 21, <br /> <br />1983, the City Clerk called for bids for improvements to the Fair <br /> <br />Oaks Community Center Play Area; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call three bids were received for <br /> <br />the construction of said improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has determined that the first and <br /> <br />second lowest bids were unresponsive, and the third bid was <br /> <br />excessive in cost; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there have been presented to this Council revised <br /> <br />special provisions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention of this Council to reject all <br /> <br />bids, approve said revised special provisions, and re-bid said <br /> <br />project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1.
