<br />~C:djg-c 6/1/83 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9368 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />JUN 6 1983 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO THE PLAY AREA <br />COMMUNITY CENTER; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR <br />SAID WORK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9344, adopted May 2, <br /> <br />1983, the City Clerk called for bids for Improvements to the Play <br /> <br />Area - Fair Oaks Community Center; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call one bid was received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Palo Alto Landscaping Co., Inc., Los Altos, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to said <br /> <br />Palo Alto Landscaping Co., Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Palo Alto Landscaping Co., Inc, in the sum of <br /> <br />Thirty-four Thousand Six Hundred Forty and No/lOa Dollars <br /> <br />($34,640.00) computed in accordance with the Base Bid of bidder's <br /> <br />proposal dated May 24, 1983, for Improvements to the Play Area - <br /> <br />Fair Oaks Community Center, is hereby accepted and said bidder is <br /> <br />hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for <br /> <br />said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />9368 <br />
