<br />CGM:rb 8/04/83 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />~ 2. 9-4-1-8 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />9418 <br />AUG 8 1983 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING <br />OF STREET MAINTENANCE MATERIALS (SAND, AGGREGATE, <br />PEA GRAVEL, AND FINES [ROAD FILLER]) FOR 1983-84 <br />FISCAL YEAR; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />THEREFOR; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9390, adopted July 11, <br /> <br />1983, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of street <br /> <br />maintenance materials (sand, aggregate, pea gravel, and fines) for <br /> <br />1983-84 Fiscal Year; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and <br /> <br />filed with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said materials; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Redwood Supply & Trucking, Redwood City, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of <br /> <br />said materials, and it is the intention of this Council to award <br /> <br />said bid to Redwood Supply & Trucking; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Redwood Supply & Trucking, in the amount of <br /> <br />Thirty-two Thousand Six Hundred Six and 04/100 Dollars ($32,606.04), <br /> <br />more or less, for the furnishing of street maintenance materials <br /> <br />(sand, aggregate, pea gravel, and fines) for 1983-84 Fiscal Year in <br /> <br />accordance with the bidder's proposal, dated August 2, 1983, and in <br /> <br />accordance with the specifications therefor on file in the office of <br /> <br />the City Clerk, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found <br /> <br />9418 <br />
