<br />C'GM:rb 8/31/83 <br /> <br />ORiGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />94:-l4 <br /> <br />SEP 1 2 1983 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING OF <br />THREE COMPACT PICK-UP TRUCKS; AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9396, adopted July 25, <br /> <br />1983, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of three <br /> <br />compact pick-up trucks; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />furnishing of said equipment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, South Bay Ford, San Jose, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equipment, <br /> <br />and it is the intention of this Council to award said bid to <br /> <br />South Bay Ford; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of South Bay Ford, in the total lump sum of <br /> <br />Twenty-five Thousand Ninety-six and 73/100 Dollars ($25,096.73), <br /> <br />including sales tax, for the furnishing of three compact pick-up <br /> <br />trucks, in accordance with the specifications therefor on file <br /> <br />in the office of the City Clerk, is hereby accepted and said <br /> <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible <br /> <br />bidder for the furnishing of said equipment. <br /> <br />9 4 ~3 4 <br />
