<br />::rb 9/07/83 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9435 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />SEP 1 ~ 1983 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR GID 1-64 EXTERIOR LEVEE <br />MAINTENANCE PROJECT; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND <br />DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9416, adopted August 8, <br /> <br />1983, this Council approved plans and specifications for the GID <br /> <br />1-64 Exterior Levee Maintenance Project, and directed the City <br /> <br />Clerk to call for bids therefor; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Covey Trucking Co., San Mateo, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to said Covey Trucking Co.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />ACTING FOR AND ON BEHALF OF REDWOOD CITY GENERAL IMPROVEMENT <br /> <br />DISTRICT NO. 1-64, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Covey Trucking Co. in the amount of <br /> <br />Eighty-eight Thousand Four Hundred Fifty and No/IOO Dollars <br /> <br />($88,450.00), in accordance with such bidder's proposal, for the <br /> <br />GID 1-64 Exterior Levee Maintenance Project, is hereby accepted <br /> <br />and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br /> <br />responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />n ,1.. :i S., <br />.., "--..., <br />
