<br />SWC:djg-c 9/14/83 <br /> <br />ORlGi Nt,L <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9443 <br /> <br />SEP 1 9 1983 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING OF <br />MISCELLANEOUS CLAMPS; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />PURCHASE ORDER AGREEMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Article VII of Chapter <br /> <br />2 of the Redwood City Code, the City Manager has solicited bids <br /> <br />for the furnishing of miscellaneous water clamps; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> <br />with the Director of Finance for the furnishing of said items; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mc Guire & Juvet, Inc., Santa Clara, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said <br /> <br />equipment, and it is the intention of this Council to award said <br /> <br />bid to Mc Guire & Juvet, Inc. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Mc Guire & Juvet, Inc. in the total lump sum <br /> <br />amount of Ten Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty-six and 40/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($10,986.40), for the furnishing of miscellaneous water clamps, in <br /> <br />accordance with the bidder's proposal dated August 17, 1983 which <br /> <br />proposal is incorporated herein by reference, is hereby accepted <br /> <br />and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br /> <br />responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equipment. <br /> <br />2. The Director of Finance is hereby authorized to prepare a <br /> <br />Purchase Order Agreement for Mc Guire & Juvet, Inc. for the <br /> <br />9443 <br />
