<br />CGM:djg-c 1/19/84 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9S08 <br /> <br />C""l!('INAl <br />',\IU <br /> <br /> <br />JAN 2 3 1984 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING THAT STATE OF CALIFORNIA (CALTRANS) <br />TRANSFER TITLE TO CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN VICINITY OF <br />BLOMQUIST STREET AND BAYSHORE FREEWAY (ROUTE 101) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this City is in the process of reconstructing <br /> <br />Seaport Boulevard to facilitate the movement of traffic to and <br /> <br />from areas adjacent thereto; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as a result of such reconstruction, there has <br /> <br />arisen a problem relating to maintenance responsibilities between <br /> <br />this City and the State of California as to their respective <br /> <br />areas over which Seaport Boulevard will be located; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended to <br /> <br />this Council that this problem could be alleviated if the State <br /> <br />of California would transfer ownership of that real property <br /> <br />described in "Exhibit A" to this City to facilitate the <br /> <br />maintenance of that portion of Seaport Boulevard which is located <br /> <br />thereon; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />The State of California (CALTRANS) is requested to transfer <br /> <br />title to that certain real property abovementioned to the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />iJ !"~ n R <br />J,-,Vv <br />
