<br />Dr'B:djg-c <br />1 ):djg-c <br /> <br />5/4/84 <br />5/8/84R <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />9565 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CONCURRING IN THE SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT <br />PLAN FOR SAN ~ffiTEO COUNTY <br /> <br />MAY 7 1984 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Nejedly-Z'berg-Dills Solid Waste Management and <br /> <br />Resource Recovery Act of 1972, (Govt. Code ~66700 et seq.) <br /> <br />requires each county in cooperation with affected local <br /> <br />jurisdictions to prepare a comprehensive, coordinated solid waste <br /> <br />management plan consistent with State policy; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said Act, a proposed Solid Waste <br /> <br />Management Plan for San Mateo County has been presented to this <br /> <br />City for review and approval or disapproval; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the plan includes the changes recommended by the <br /> <br />City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed the proposed Solid Waste <br /> <br />Management Plan for San Mateo County, and desire to approve said <br /> <br />plan; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That certain plan entitled, "The Solid Waste Management <br /> <br />Plan for San Mateo County", dated April, 1984, a copy of which is <br /> <br />on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference <br /> <br />is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby <br /> <br />approved. <br /> <br />2. This Council hereby finds and declares that it concurs <br /> <br />in the Solid Waste Management Plan for San Mateo County. <br /> <br />9565 <br />
