<br />DES:djc 11/26/85 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />IOORO <br /> <br />DEe 2 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />RELATING TO FIRE PROTECTION AND RELATED SERVICES FOR CERTAIN <br />UNINCORPORATED AREAS IN THE VICINITY OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo, a political subdivision of <br /> <br />the State of California, has requested that this City furnish <br /> <br />fire protection and suppression services and life support <br /> <br />assistance within certain unincorporated areas of said County in <br /> <br />the vicinity of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to, and reviewed by, this <br /> <br />Council an agreement by and between said County and the City <br /> <br />providing for such services and assistance which this Council <br /> <br />desires to approve and authorize for execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement by and between the County of San <br /> <br />Mateo, a political subdivision of the State of California, and <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of <br /> <br />California <br /> <br />entitled "Agreement with Independent Contractor II <br /> <br />providing for fire protection and suppression services and life <br /> <br />support assistance by the City in certain unincorporated areas of <br /> <br />the County, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of <br /> <br />the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for the <br /> <br />full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the Mayor and <br /> <br />City Clerk, respectively, are hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />!"> () 80 <br />o tJ ( , <br />
