<br />DCB:sh 1/10/85 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9783 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />JAN 2 1 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR FIFTH AVENUE STORM DRAIN SYSTEM'S SOIL <br />INVESTIGATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City requires soil investigation services in <br /> <br />connection with the design and construction of the proposed Fifth <br /> <br />Avenue Storm Drain System; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, TEJIMA-ATKINSON, INC., Redwood City, California <br /> <br />has represented to City that it is experienced and uniquely <br /> <br />qualified to perform such services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City desires to engage TEJIMA-ATKINSON, INC. to <br /> <br />perform soil investigation services, including but not limited to <br /> <br />the drilling and logging borings, performing laboratory tests to <br /> <br />evaluate the engineering properties of the sampled soils, <br /> <br />recommending criteria for trench excavation and backfill, and <br /> <br />recommending criteria for design and construction of the planned <br /> <br />pump station; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That <br /> <br />certain <br /> <br />Agreement <br /> <br />entitled <br /> <br />"Agreement <br /> <br />Soil <br /> <br />Investigation - 5th Avenue Storm Drain System" a copy of which <br /> <br />agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> <br />copy reference hereby made for full particulars thereof, is <br /> <br />hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and <br /> <br />directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9783 <br />
