<br />73-08B <br /> <br />WMAM ryA:rva 01/28/85 17c <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />9794 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />FEB 4 1985 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING ATTORNEYS <br /> <br />SEAPORT BOULEVARD ASSESSMENT DISTRICT <br /> <br />RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Redwood City, <br />California, that <br />WHEREAS, this Council proposed to undertake proceedings pursuant <br />to appropriate special assessment and assessment bond acts for the <br />acquisition, construction and financing of public improvements in said <br />City; and <br />WHEREAS, the public interest and general welfare will be served <br />by appointing and employing attorneys for the preparation and conduct of <br />said proceedings in connection with said acquisitions and improvements; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows: <br />1. That the law firm of WILSON MORTON ASSAF & McELLIGOTT, San <br />Mateo, California, be, and it is hereby, appointed and employed to do <br />and perform all legal services required in the conduct of said <br />proceedings, including the preparation of all papers not required to be <br />prepared by the Engineer, examining and approving the engineering <br />documents and advising the Engineer in the preparation of his work, <br />advising all City officials on all matters relating thereto when called <br />upon, and furnishing its legal opinion on the validity of said <br />proceedings and bonds, and that its compensation be, and it is hereby, <br />fixed at 2-1/2% of the first $2,000,000 of the total balance to <br />assessment, as confirmed, plus 2% of the next $2,000,000 of the total <br /> <br />9 79!1 <br />
