<br />DCB:sh 3/5/85 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9822 <br /> <br />MAR 11 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE FURNISHING OF <br />MULTI-CHANNEL LOGGING RECORDING SYSTEM AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID EQUIPMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9787 adopted January 21, <br /> <br />1985, the City Clerk called for bids for the purchase of a <br /> <br />multi-channel logging recording system: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />purchase of said equipment and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Dictaphone Corporation, Rye, New York, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award bid to said Dictaphone Corporation; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Dictaphone Corporation in the sum of <br /> <br />Eighteen Thousand Two and 87/100 Dollars ($18,002.87), computed <br /> <br />in accordance with bidder's proposal dated February 14, 1985, for <br /> <br />a multi-channel logging recording system is hereby accepted and <br /> <br />said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest bidder <br /> <br />for said equipment and all other bids are rejected. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City all <br /> <br />required documents for said purchase of equipment. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />All <br /> <br />informalities <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />aforementioned bid of <br /> <br />Dictaphone Corporation is hereby waived. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9822 <br />
