SAID WORK: AND DIRECTING <br />SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />I <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolut~on No. 9781 adopted January 21, <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />1985, the City Clerk called for ~ids for Street Light Rewiring; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said ca~l, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filedj with the City Clerk; and <br />I <br />i <br />WHEREAS, Coast Electric comp~ny, Redwood City, California, <br />I <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to award bid to said Coast Electric <br /> <br />Company; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIt OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Coast Electri~ Company, in the sum of Ninety <br /> <br />Thousand <br /> <br />Nine <br /> <br />Hundred <br /> <br />Eighty+seven <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />No/lOO <br /> <br />Dollars <br /> <br />($90,987.00), computed in accord<1.nce with Item 1 of bidder's <br /> <br />proposal dated February 26, 1985, for Street Light Rewiring (plus <br />if applicable, Item No's 2 and 3 of said proposal), is hereby <br /> <br />accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the <br /> <br />lowest bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />9825 <br />
