<br />DCB:sh 5/16/85 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 9 881 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />MAY 20 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN <br />APPLICATION FOR AN APPROPRIATION FROM THE ENERGY AND <br />RESOURCES FUND PURSUANT TO ROBERTI Z'BERG URBAN <br />OPEN-SPACE AND RECREATION PROGRAM FOR DEVELOPMENT OF <br />PARKS AND RECREATION FACILITIES IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Legislature of the State of California has <br /> <br />enacted the Roberti <br /> <br />Z'Berg Urban Open-Space and Recreation <br /> <br />Program and has authorized a procedure for applications for an <br /> <br />appropriation from the Energy and Resources Fund for fiscal year <br /> <br /> <br />1984-85 by certain political subdivisions' for land acquisition, <br /> <br />facility development program operation, area maintenance, and for <br /> <br />innovative projects in connection therewith; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the State Department of Parks and Recreation has <br /> <br />been delegated the responsibility for the administration of the <br /> <br />program, and has established necessary procedures governing <br /> <br />applications by local agencies under this program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said procedures established by the State Department <br /> <br />of Parks and Recreation require an applicant to certify by <br /> <br />resolution the approval of applications prior to submission of <br /> <br />said application to the State of California; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said applications contain a certification that an <br /> <br />applicant will comply with all Federal, State, and local <br /> <br />environment public health, relocation, affirmative action, and <br /> <br />clearing house requirements and all other appropriate codes, laws <br /> <br />and regulations prior to the expenditure of any funds; and <br /> <br />988 I <br />
