<br />DCB:sh <br />DCB: sh <br />DCB:sh <br /> <br />5/20/85 <br />5/30/85R <br />5/31/85R <br />JUN 3 1985 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9891 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENTS BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND PACIFIC <br />GAS AND ELECTRIC COMPANY RELATING TO UNDERGROUNDING OF <br />ELECTRICAL FACILITIES ALONG SEAPORT BOULEVARD IN <br />ACCORDANCE WITH RULE 20B AND GRANTING P.G.& E. <br />OWNERSHIP OF UNDERGROUND FACILITIES WHEN WORK IS <br />COMPLETED <br /> <br />COPY; <br /> <br />\vHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires replacement of <br /> <br />existing overhead electrical facilities and to install conduit <br /> <br />and structures and substructures for the required undergrounding <br /> <br />of overhead power lines and inspection costs as part of Seaport <br /> <br />Boulevard Reconstruction Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Pacific Gas and Electric Company will underground <br /> <br />said facilities provided Redwood City meets the conditions of <br /> <br />Rule 20B; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an agreement has been presented to this Council for <br /> <br />its approval by Pacific Gas and Electric Company to provide the <br /> <br />above-referenced services to City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City desires to grant P.G.& E. ownership of <br /> <br />underground electrical facilities when the work is completed; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Those certain agreements by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City and Pacific Gas and Electric Company entitled, "Pacific Gas <br /> <br />and Electric Company - Agreement to Install Facilities or Perform <br /> <br />Other Work", in which the City grants ownership of said <br /> <br />facilities to P.G.& E. when the work is completed and approves <br /> <br />such undergrounding project services attached hereto, are hereby <br /> <br />approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed <br /> <br />9891 <br />
