<br />SWC:sh 7/31/85 <br /> <br />OD,'G:r.IA" <br />1\ i 1\, I... <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />~ Q. 9 9 R 1 <br /> <br />AUG 2 6 1985 <br />OF <br />USE <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION AND JOINT <br />OF RECREATIONAL FACILITIES AT HOOVER SCHOOL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on January 13, 1982, the City of Redwood City and <br /> <br />the Redwood City School District entered into an agreement <br /> <br />entitled <br /> <br />"Agreement <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />Construction <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Joint <br /> <br />Use <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Recreational Facilities at Hoover School"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the term of said agreement is for a period of <br /> <br />thirty (30) years; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Parties to said agreement have agreed that it <br /> <br />would be mutually beneficial to each Party, and the public <br /> <br />interest would be served, by amending said agreement to provide <br /> <br />for a term of forty (40) years instead of the current thirty (30) <br /> <br />year term; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Amendment to Agreement for <br /> <br />Construction and Joint Use of Recreational Facilities at Hoover <br /> <br />School" by and between the City of Redwood City School District <br />(form dated 5/13/85), a copy of which agreement is on file in the <br /> <br />office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made <br /> <br />for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City <br /> <br />Manager is hereby authorized to execute said agreement for and on <br /> <br />behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9981 <br />
