<br />SWC:sh 2/19/86 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />~ Q. 1 0 143 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />FES 2 4 1986 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR WEED ABATEMENT BY SPRAYING <br />AND DISKING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR <br />SAID WEED ABATEMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10129, adopted January <br /> <br />27, 1986, the City Clerk called for bids for the letting of a <br /> <br />contract for the weed abatement by spraying and disking wi thin <br /> <br />fiscal year 1985-86; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution, the City Clerk called <br /> <br />for bids for the abatement of weeds by spraying and disking; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Custom Farming, Redwood City, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said contract to Custom Farming; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Custom Farming, in the total amount of <br /> <br />Thirty-seven Thousand Seven Hundred Ninety-seven and 50/100 <br /> <br />Dollars <br /> <br />($37,797.50), computed in accordance with bidder's <br /> <br />proposal dated February 6, 1986, for the performance of weed <br /> <br />abatement by spraying and disking in the City of Redwood City, <br /> <br />California, in accordance with the specifications approved by <br /> <br />Resolution No. 10129, is hereby accepted. Any irregularities or <br /> <br />informalities that may be contained in said bid are hereby <br /> <br />waived. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement" <br /> <br />(form dated 2/21/85) <br /> <br />10143 <br />
