<br />SWC:sh 2/27/86 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10153 <br /> <br />MAR <br /> <br />3 1986 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR CONSULTING SERVICES IN COOPERATION WITH <br />THE REDWOOD CITY CONSORTIUM FOR SCHOOL AGE CHILD CARE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City desires to participate in <br /> <br />and assist the effort of a group of local residents who have <br /> <br />formed the Redwood City Consortium for School Age Child Care <br /> <br />("CSACC") for the public purpose of promoting and guiding the <br /> <br />implementation of a community-wide plan to provide child care <br /> <br />services for school age children; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City, in cooperation with CSACC, acknowledges <br /> <br />that the hiring of a consultant is essential to this effort; and <br /> <br />is cooperating with CSACC to secure outside funding for the <br /> <br />purpose of retaining consulting services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo has committed Two Thousand <br /> <br />and No/100 Dollars ($2,000.00) toward the funding of a consulting <br /> <br />agreement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council agrees to commit a maximum of Two <br /> <br />Thousand and No/lOa Dollars ($2,000.00) of City funds to such <br /> <br />project, and to administer other funds that may be received for <br /> <br />the purpose of funding a consulting agreement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council an <br /> <br />agreement for consulting services, and it is the desire of this <br /> <br />Council to approve such agreement and to authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />10153 <br />
